  • Important Update on Invoice Cloud Processing Fee Increases

    We are informing our valued customers that there will be an update regarding the processing fees associated with online payments through Invoice Cloud, effective September 5, 2023. These changes are necessary to ensure the continued efficiency and effectiveness of our payment processing system. The updated processing fees will be as follows: Credit/Debit Card Processing Fee: Previous Fee: 2.95% New Fee: 3.15% Minimum Charge: $2.75 (remains the same) EFT (Check) Processing Fee: Previous Fee: $1.50 New Fee: $1.65 These changes reflect the rising costs associated with processing credit/debit card transactions and electronic fund transfers. We understand that any increase in fees can be an inconvenience, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. However, it is important for us to maintain a secure and efficient payment system to continue providing you with the best possible service.   • July 4th: Holiday Hours of Operation

    DCRWD offices will be closed Tuesday, July 4th, and Wednesday, July 5th in observance of the Independence Day holiday. Normal business hours will resume Thursday, July 6th. Bill payments can still be made online. June bills are due July 5th for Daleville & Westbrook and July 15th for Desoto & Royerton.   • DCRWD and Muncie Sanitary District Forge a 25-Year Long-Term Partnership

    MUNCIE, DELAWARE COUNTY - The Delaware County Regional Wastewater District (DCRWD) and the Muncie Sanitary District are pleased to announce the signing of a groundbreaking 25-year long-term contract, solidifying a mutually beneficial partnership for all parties involved. Under this agreement, DCRWD will continue to use a portion of the Muncie Sanitary District's wastewater treatment facility and infrastructure for the treatment of the Royerton and Desoto customers sanitary flow. The partnership agreement also includes a provision that guarantees a justified rate calculation methodology for any future rate changes. This crucial clause ensures that the rates charged to DCRWD clients will always be fair, transparent, and reflective of the actual costs involved. Both DCRWD and the Muncie Sanitary District are committed to maintaining affordability while delivering top-notch wastewater treatment services. Furthermore, the contract secures DCRWD access to the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) for all necessary maintenance and operational purposes. "It’s great that we can finally put this one to bed. The Board and Committee Members at DCRWD worked extremely hard trying to find an outcome that gave our ratepayers the greatest opportunities today while still looking into the future,” stated Jason Richards, Executive Director of DCRWD. The Delaware County Regional Wastewater District and the Muncie Sanitary District share a common goal of providing environmentally responsible wastewater treatment services while safeguarding public health and the region's natural resources.     Q: How long have you been with DCRWD? Going on 8 years Q: What is your favorite part of working with the District? Knowing that every day will not be like yesterday. It’s a new day every day here, never knowing what you’ll find. Q: What has been the most important lesson you've learned throughout your career? Always listen to others. You can learn a lot by watching and learning, and it will always stay with you. Q: Who are some of your biggest influences? My family. Q: What are the toughest challenges you've had at work? Trying to stay one step ahead of any future problems or issues. Q: When you're not at work, what do you enjoy doing with your free time? Golf, pool time and being with my family and friends. Most of all, I enjoy being with my wife Heidi. Q: What do you think set you apart from others in your field? Nothing, we are all equal and having 25 years plus of experience kind of helps out.
