  • Royerton Project Update 4/22

    The District is currently working to secure a hard start date for the Royerton project with our contractor, Brackney, Inc. Brackney, Inc. is working on their final material acquisition for the project. Once we receive further updates from our engineering team and contractor, more updates will be given through social media and in normal monthly Board meetings that are open to the public.

  • Overlook Drive Update 4/17

    The contractor on Overlook Dr. is currently finishing up work placing all curb stops between the residents' properties and the county easement on the new sanitary sewer lines. Once curb stops are in place the contractor will begin pressure testing the system. This is important to verify a water-tight and properly working system.   • April 2024 Weather Update

    The District’s employees and Board would like to thank all of the ratepayers and Delaware County residents for the continued support and patience during the recent weather events. The storm and rainy season can create issues for utilities during weather events, including electrical power loss and flooding recently experienced in our District. Please remember all storm water run-off and discharge needs to enter the appropriate street and storm drains, and at no time should any downspouts or sump pumps be connected to any sanitary sewer lines.   • Overlook Drive Project: April 3 Update

    We're happy to share some updates regarding the Overlook Drive Project. Our team has been hard at work, as contractors have been diligently pushing the project forward. We're pleased to announce that the entire sewer main has been successfully bored in and connected to the discharge manhole. A good number of the residents' laterals have also been placed. This achievement marks a significant milestone in our efforts to enhance the wastewater infrastructure in our community. This progress wouldn't have been possible without the dedication of our skilled contractors and the cooperation of our residents. We extend our gratitude to everyone involved in making this project a reality. Stay tuned for more updates to come!

  • April 8th: Closing for the Eclipse

  • April 2nd Weather Update

    We had 2 to 3 inches of rain in Delaware County into the morning hours of April 2. Our Western service area including Daleville and Westbrook had roughly 2 inches of total rain and all systems are handling it well. Parts of our northern service area including Royerton and Desoto had rain totals anywhere from 2.5 to 3 inches in a short time. The sanitary sewer along with stormwater will take some time to catch up when rainfalls are that high in that time period. Please watch the weather today for potential storms.

  • Overlook Drive Project Update

    Attention all Daleville residents! The Overlook Drive Project is progressing according to schedule. Our contractors will be on-site during the upcoming week to perform hydro excavation and potholing of other utilities. This process will allow the contractor to expose existing utility infrastructure, aiding in the mitigation of any potential damage during our boring process, which involves drilling into the ground to ensure the safety of the project site.   • 3/14 Storm Update

    The staff at DCRWD would like to extend our deepest condolences to all individuals and families impacted by the series of storms last evening. DCRWD has reached out to other local wastewater entities, and extended emergency assistance if needed. Please bear with us during our hours of operation today. Parts of our service area experienced storms that produced rainfall totals of more than five (5) inches, plus damaging winds and hail.
