The Delaware County Regional Wastewater District (DCRWD) Board of Directors has officially approved the continuation of its officer appointments from 2024. The leadership team remains as follows: Bill Walters – President Ray Maynard – Vice President Peter Olson – Treasurer Jo Boyce – Secretary Our officers, along with the entire Board, are committed to serving the community and ensuring the efficient management of wastewater services. We encourage all residents and customers to attend our monthly Board meetings, which are typically held on the first Wednesday of every month .
- Upcoming Cammack Project Goes to Bid
Delaware County Regional Wastewater District is excited to announce progress on a sanitary sewer rehabilitation project in Cammack, with an updated bidding timeline. The bid notice was published locally on January 10th and 17th, 2025. A pre-bid meeting took place at the District office on January 22nd at 10:00 AM, providing an opportunity for interested contractors to gather project details. The bid opening, originally scheduled for February 3rd, has been pushed back to Friday, February 7th, at 1:00 PM to accommodate additional addendums and questions from current plan holders. - Construction Update: Lift Station Rehabilitation Projects
The Delaware County Regional Wastewater District is continuing its commitment to maintaining and improving the collection system with ongoing lift station rehabilitation projects. Currently, Brackney is working on the County Village main sanitary lift station. This work is taking place on District property and does not impact local traffic. Proper lift station maintenance is essential to ensuring the efficiency and longevity of the wastewater system. This week, crews will begin lift station rehabilitation at the #9 Royerton Station. The work will take place on Royerton Rd. between Redbird Dr. and Winwood Dr., so residents in the area may notice crews at work as improvements are made. This project was originally scheduled to start in early January, but due to weather conditions earlier this month, the timeline was pushed back a few weeks. If you would like to learn more or ask questions, feel free to attend one of our monthly board meetings typically held on the first Wednesday of each month. The Delaware County Regional Wastewater District is making great strides in the Royerton Sewer Improvements Project, which started on September 16, 2024. This important project will enhance our sewer infrastructure, ensuring greater reliability and capacity for the community. We have made significant strides during this project and continue to do so. We appreciate everyone’s patience during the construction. Brackney, Inc. will begin lift station rehabilitation this week at the 2700 block of East Royerton Road, between Redbird Drive and Winwood Drive. Currently, we do not anticipate an impact on traffic in this area. To stay informed about this ongoing project, residents are encouraged to follow updates on our Facebook page and attend our monthly Board meetings, held on the first Wednesday of each month at 3 PM. These meetings offer a great opportunity to hear about project progress and ask questions directly. We appreciate the community's patience as we work to improve the area's sewer system.
