- DCRWD Cammack Inlining Project Nearing Completion
The Delaware County Regional Wastewater District is pleased to share that the Cammack Inlining Project is nearing completion! The final phase of PPI’s efforts will focus on manhole and structure rehabilitation to wrap up this important sanitary sewer improvement effort. We would like to sincerely thank all Cammack residents for their patience and cooperation throughout this project. We’re excited to welcome Tyler Prose to the Delaware County Regional Wastewater District team! Tyler joins us as our Assistant Field Supervisor and is looking forward to building a long-term career with us. When Tyler isn’t working, you can find him spending time with his two dogs— Gizmo and Rusty —or enjoying his passion for gardening and lawn care. He’s also a big fan of horror movies and loves dining at Texas Roadhouse , his favorite restaurant in Delaware County. We’re thrilled to have you on the team, Tyler!

- The Cammack Project Updates: July 2025
The Delaware County Regional Wastewater District is committed to maintaining and improving critical infrastructure for the communities we serve. One of our current efforts is focused on the Cammack area, where we are preparing for important updates to the wastewater system. Mainline preparation in Cammack is scheduled for the week of July 14 . Please note that this prep work only affects the preparation phase and will not impact the overall project timeline . As part of our outreach, project notices for Monday, July 14, and Tuesday, July 15 were distributed on Wednesday, July 9 , during the Pre-Project Installation (PPI) phase. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve the reliability and performance of the wastewater infrastructure in Delaware County. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to call our office at 765.284.6370 . We’re here to help! Update: July 21st — Mainline preparation in Cammack is underway. - Join Our Team: Field Technician (UPDATE: POSITION FILLED)
UPDATE: POSITION FILLED The Delaware County Regional Wastewater District is accepting applications for the position of Field Technician . This full-time role is responsible for the maintenance of all district lines and lift stations, as well as assisting the Field Supervisor with daily operations. The Field Technician plays an essential part in supporting the safe and effective operation of our wastewater system, helping ensure reliable service for our community. In this position, you will operate, maintain, and store various tools and equipment such as drills, pressure washers, grinders, pump trucks, and excavators. As a technician, you will also inspect and service lift stations, record meter readings, mow field areas, clean sewer lines and manholes, and assist in locating taps and lines with camera equipment. Additional duties include delivering delinquent notices, responding to emergencies when on-call, and supporting general maintenance and repair work as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to meet all department hiring requirements, including passage of a medical exam and a drug test. Working knowledge of and ability to make practical application of Department safety policies and procedures and applicable OSHA safety policies and procedures. Knowledge of rules and regulations regarding Uniform Traffic Control regulations, federal regulations, state codes, and County ordinances. Ability to operate various tools and equipment in performance of duties, such as hammers, screw drivers, wrenches, drills, air nozzle, air compressor, air nozzle, power saws, driver, ratchets, grinder, drill press, pressure washer, gauges, brooms, camera equipment, overhead crane, belt sander, pump trucks and other tools/equipment as required for work assignments. Ability to physically perform assigned duties, including driving, lifting/carrying objects weighing over 50 pounds, shoveling, digging, raking, pushing/pulling objects, bending, crouching/kneeling, reaching, standing/walking for long periods, walking on rough terrain, far vision, color/depth perception, hearing sounds, and handling/grasping/fingering objects. Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with co-workers, other County departments and the public, including being sensitive to professional ethics, gender, cultural diversities and disabilities. Ability to comply with all employer and Department policies and work rules, including, but not limited to, attendance, safety, drug-free workplace, and personal conduct. Ability to provide public access to or maintain confidentiality of Depaiiment information and records according to state requirements. Ability to competently serve the public with diplomacy and respect, including occasional encounters with irate/disgruntled persons. Ability to understand, memorize, retain, and carry out oral and written instructions and present findings in oral or written form. Ability to work alone with minimum supervision and with others in a team environment, occasionally under time pressure. Ability to work strenuously for extended periods and work on several tasks at the same time. Ability to apply knowledge of people/local geography, plan/layout assigned work projects, and complete required paperwork. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and calculate decimals and percentages. Ability to read/interpret detailed blueprints, technical manuals, specifications, and road maps. Ability to occasionally work extended hours, evenings, and/or weekends and occasionally respond to emergencies from an off-duty status.
