Upgrading Lift Station Infrastructure in Royerton

If you’ve noticed District crews working in the Royerton area recently, they are replacing more than 20 electrical H-frames that support our lift stations. This work has been underway and will continue as crews complete the remaining replacements.
H-frames are the structures that support the electrical components needed to power and operate our lift stations. Some of the existing frames in Royerton were installed as early as the late 1990s and were built from treated wood. After decades of exposure to the elements, they are being replaced with new frames constructed from steel, a stronger and longer-lasting material.
Upgrading to steel means less maintenance, greater durability, and more dependable lift station operation for years to come. Projects like this continue to reflect our ongoing commitment to maintaining our infrastructure and keeping service reliable.
