The Delaware County Regional Wastewater District (DCRWD) is set to begin an important infrastructure project this summer that will bring long-term benefits to the Cammack area. This project is part of the District’s ongoing commitment to improving the efficiency, safety, and reliability of the region’s wastewater systems.

The Cammack project is scheduled to kick off with line preparation beginning the week May 26th, 2025. This phase includes essential groundwork to ensure a smooth and effective inlining process later in the summer. Residents and commuters in the area may notice equipment and crews as this initial prep work gets underway.

Starting in the second week of July, the core phase of the project—pipeline inlining—will begin. Inlining is a trenchless rehabilitation method that reinforces existing sewer lines from the inside out. This process helps extend the life of the infrastructure with minimal surface disruption, which means less inconvenience for nearby residents and businesses.

Project Timeline

  • May 26: Line preparation begins

  • 2nd week of July: Inlining begins

  • 2nd week of September: Project completion scheduled

While temporary disruptions may occur during the construction period, the District is working closely with contractors to minimize impacts on traffic and daily life. We appreciate the community’s patience and cooperation as we work to complete this important upgrade.
