DCRWD: Keeping Our System Ready for Every Rainfall

June brought another month of significant rainfall to our area, with more than five inches recorded throughout the month. Despite the continued wet weather, the Delaware County Regional Wastewater District is pleased to report that no overflow events occurred. These results reflect the district's continued investment in infrastructure and preventive maintenance, strengthening our ability to manage increased flows during heavy rain events. These efforts also help us remain in compliance with state regulatory requirements while protecting public health and the environment.

While major infrastructure upgrades are essential, routine maintenance and preventive care are equally important to the long-term performance of our system. During June, our crews completed additional cleaning and maintenance in the Country Village area as part of our ongoing efforts to keep the wastewater system operating efficiently. Over the next few weeks, residents may continue to see us throughout the area as we wrap up preventive maintenance efforts. We appreciate the patience and understanding of our residents as we work to provide safe, reliable, and high-quality wastewater service.
