The Delaware County Regional Wastewater District is excited to share the latest progress on the Royerton Sewer Improvements Project, which began on September 16, 2024. This critical initiative aims to enhance the community’s sewer infrastructure, providing increased reliability and capacity for years to come.
Construction crews have been making steady advancements, and we’re pleased to report that Brackney, Inc. is nearing the completion of work at the site on SR 3, just north of the Dollar General in Royerton. Once this phase is finalized, the project will move into its next stages, focusing on lift station maintenance and rehabilitation in Country Village and an additional station east of SR 3 on Royerton Road.
To stay informed about this ongoing project, residents are encouraged to follow updates on our Facebook page and attend our monthly Board meetings. These meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at 3 PM, with an exception for the upcoming New Year’s holiday—our January Board Meeting will take place on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at 3 PM. Board meetings are an excellent opportunity to hear about project progress and ask questions directly.
We sincerely appreciate the community’s patience and support as we work to improve Royerton’s infrastructure. Together, we’re building a stronger foundation for the future.
