In compliance with new state legislation, the Delaware County Regional Wastewater District (DCRWD) will begin livestreaming its monthly board meetings starting with its July board meeting on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.

The change comes as a result of House Bill 1167, passed by the Indiana General Assembly in 2023, which mandates that all public meetings held by local government entities across Indiana be livestreamed, recorded, and archived for at least 90 days. This new law is designed to increase transparency and accessibility in local government.

What This Means for You

Starting in July 2025:

  • DCRWD board meetings will be livestreamed online.

  • Recordings of each meeting will be available on our website for at least 90 days.

  • Residents will be able to watch meetings in real time (or view them at their convenience, as they can now on YouTube or our website

At DCRWD, we believe that open access to information builds trust and strengthens our connection to the community. We are committed to following the law while making it easier than ever for our customers to stay informed and engaged.

Stay Tuned

As we get closer to the July launch, we will share additional details about how to access the livestream and archived recordings. Be sure to follow us on our website and social media for updates. Thank you for your continued support and interest in the work we do to serve Delaware County.
