DCRWD/Wes-Del

Delaware County Regional Wastewater District is teaming up with Wes-Del Community Schools and the Town of Gaston to explore options for the school’s current wastewater treatment facility located onsite. The Delaware County Commissioners agreed to use funds from the American Rescue Plan to offset costs and escape the burden of the current treatment facility.

Wes-Del wants to explore extending water service as well to both the Middle and High school locations. This would allow the Middle & High school to be provided by the Town of Gaston and could relieve the need for the current onsite well. Commonwealth is working on the engineering report to include this information.
